Ironbridge Gorge Museum

Famed for being a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, Ironbridge Gorge is the perfect backdrop for the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s ten unique attractions and venues. The largest of the ten venues, the vibrant, 52-acre Blists Hill Victorian Town provides unrivalled possibilities for events in a recreated Victorian town. Perfect for company fun days, informal lunches, unique receptions and conference dinners, delegates can enjoy everything from drinking a pint of real ale in the town’s public house, to trading with shillings in the pharmacy, grocers or fish and chip shop. The expert team at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust are on hand to help you put on a truly unforgettable event. Also nestled within the World Heritage site is the equally impressive Enginiuty and the Museum of Iron. The stunning Grade II Listed Engine Shop with its beamed-ceiling and magnificent arched windows is the centre piece of this unique venue. The Engine Shop is the ideal choice for large scale events, whether it be a convention for 300, a gala dinner for 250 or industry exhibition. The historic covered courtyard boasts The Glass Classroom, suitable for up to 100 guests while the Board Room, the original board room of the Coalbrookdale Company can hold up to 70 guests. Event Organisers can treat their guests to time-out in Enginuity with its interactive exhibits and Fab Lab, exploring the world of innovation, design and learning. All profits from events held at the Ironbridge Gorge Museums help support the work of this award winning education and heritage conservation charity.
