Explore the twinkling wonderful winter woodland until you find Santa in his grotto where he will have a gift for every child. He’s going to be super-busy this year so while you’re waiting to meet him, enjoy cool children’s fun activities.
Book your Christmas at Coalbrookdale tickets online and receive a voucher to use on the day of your visit to Santa’s grotto. Tickets are £8 per child up to 12 years with timed entry. An unlimited number of adults can visit the Grotto with their children/grandchildren; tickets are for the Grotto only, and do not include admission into any of the Museums.
The Grotto ticket also allows you to save 25% off entry into Enginuity where you can see the gigantic 34metre bridge made from interlocking plastic bricks – the museum’s attempt at breaking the Guinness Book of World records for the longest span bridge in partnership with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
While in Coalbrookdale, pop into the Furnace Kitchen and enjoy some Christmas fayre including mince pies and mulled wine.
Enginuity will be open 10am-4pm and the Museum of Iron 11am-5pm over the Christmas weekends and Annual Passport tickets are valid for entry. The great value Passports allow multiple visits into all 10 museums and cost £26.50 per adult, £20.50 for seniors, £16.50 for children (16 years or under), £70 for a family of two adults and all their children and £50 for a family with one adult; under 5s free (terms and conditions apply); Passports can also be bought online in advance saving 5% and individual entry tickets are available at each museum.
