Jackfield Tile Trail

The Jackfield Tile trail and new picnic area and has also been completed as part of the final landscaping bringing the site of former stabilisation work back to life.

The tile trail map has been created by Craven Dunhill Jackfield Ltd and Telford & Wrekin Council as part of the Jackfield Stabilisation scheme in the Ironbridge Gorge. This trail allows you to visually explore the areas rich heritage, by experiencing the many different delights along this fascinating trail within a beautifully idyllic setting.

This is part of a wider scheme in partnership with Jacobs Engineering Group that has just seen the completion of the picnic area and the re-landscaped lower slopes that are now open and available to public access.

The tile trail map has just been launched and is available at local museums, the Maws Craft Centre and there are a number of leaflet boxes located around the site. These are available on the western end of the Severn Valley Way (near to the rear entrance to JTM), one at the east end of Church Road (at the start of the path to the picnic area), one inside the MAWS and one on the riverside footpath to the west of the Memorial footbridge.
