We opened our shop in the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge back in 2001. We started trading as "Homeward Bound" but in 2009 decided that we needed to change direction and moved into premises next door which are now known as "The Ironbridge Gift Emporium". The decision has proved very successful and we have just recently added another 2500sq ft of warehousing to our business. This has enabled us to carry more stock and we usually deliver to customers within a week of ordering.
We import direct from our source factory in India, our ranges include our own bespoke designed IRONBRIDGE range, alongside RUSTIC FARM, STOWAWAY, and JALI. These ranges are all made from solid Indian hardwoods, Ironbridge and Jali are made from Indian Rosewood and Rustic Farm and Stowaway are made from Mango. They are all hard wearing and should give years of service if looked after with wax polish. To prevent staining it is advisable to use coasters on the surfaces and to avoid placing hot or cold items directly onto the wood.
We are a family run business and our aim is to supply quality furniture to our customers at a competitive price. We also care about our environment and our aim is to produce as little waste as possible. Therefore we recycle much of our packaging, as such this means that your furniture may not come in a fancy box but this does not detract from the quality of the furniture. We now recycle most of our plastic and cardboard packaging. When you receive your furniture please try to recycle as much of the packaging as you can. Thank you
