Brompton Cookery School is owned and run by Celebrity Chef Marcus Bean and his wife Jenny
The school is based in a beautiful barn conversion within a collection of original farm buildings. A spacious, purpose built farmhouse style kitchen allows for the tuition of 16 people at 4 large workstations. There’s also a chef’s demonstration area and lower workstation for a wheelchair user. The cookery school also has a stylish dining room for you to savour the dishes you create and as one of the most well equipped cookery schools, attracts foodies and cooking enthusiasts from all over the UK for enjoyable and informative courses. Whats more is that across the original farm yard is the beautiful farmhouse bed & breakfast where you can really make your cookery experience one to remember.
Cookery Courses for Everyone
The cookery school offers a range of day, half day and evening courses as well as bespoke cookery courses and events. Whether a beginner to more experienced cook wanting to take your culinary skills to the next level, our courses offer something for everyone and cater for all tastes – bread making, perfecting pastry, meat, vegetarian, fish lovers and cooking for dinner parties – whatever your ability. Children’s junior cookery is also offered, with courses available for 10 to 16 year olds scheduled in school holidays. For something a little different, demo and dine evenings are regularly held where Marcus and his team will demonstrate a range of dishes which you’ll then enjoy for dinner. Corporate Days
We are able to design the perfect day for your team whether is be a hands on cookery day or a demo and dine experience as a thank you! These can take place during the week days at a time to suit you. We are also very happy to arrange breakfast, lunch and dinner meetings in our beautiful dining room. There is ample parking within the grounds and easy access for coaches.
