Andrea Webster, Marketing Manager at Weston Park says “opening the Temple Wood at half term is a great opportunity for families to get out and about during the school holidays to explore and let off some steam.”
On Tuesday 20th, Thursday 22nd and Saturday 24th, the Education Team at Weston Park will be leading exciting ‘Elf Forages’ around the woodland. Children will be tasked with finding natural materials around Temple Wood as they follow their Elf Map and find the hidden elves. After exploring the woods and foraging for natural materials, families will be able to make their very own Elf House to take home in the craft activity rooms.
The Granary Deli will be open daily for hot coffees, warming homemade soups, freshly made sandwiches and delicious cakes.
Temple Wood will be open Monday 19th – Saturday 24th February, 10:30am – 4pm (last admission 3pm) at £3 per person, under 4’s go free (payable on the day).
The Woodland Elf Forage will be taking place on Tuesday 20th, Thursday 22nd and Saturday 24th February. Tickets cost £5 per person, under 4’s go free. Annual Pass Holders receive 25% off admission. Pre-booking is required at weston-park.com
