Spookley Pumpkin Festival 2017, Apley Farm
14 - 29 October 2017
For a great half term Halloween experience, climb aboard the Pumpkin Express at Apley Farm, when you can hear the Spookley story being read by a friendly Mrs Pumpkin. The Express will take you to the pumpkin patch where you can select your own pumpkin. Once back in the courtyard, you can carve it & enter our daily competition for the best carved pumpkin.
As you leave don’t forget to buy your very own copy of the book ‘Spookley the Square Pumpkin’ & even your own soft Spookley toy or DVD film available at Paint & Create in the Courtyard . The story book carries a strong anti-bullying message, which is shared with school children across the country.* Pumpkin Carving Cavern does not require pre-booking.
To complete your Spookley experience, pop into the Creamery Café for a special pumpkin based treats.
This event is an outdoors event, please ensure children are wearing suitable clothing & footwear to go on to the field. Please note all adults riding the Pumpkin Express must book a place & a minimum of one responsible adult must accompany a child/group of children.
Tickets will stop being sold 8 hours before the event starts. We then sell the remaining tickets to walk-in customers only arriving onsite at Apley Farm Shop.

Halloween Horrors, Weston Park

Kids can get creative with creepy crafts for all ages, and carve their very own peculiar pumpkins to take home.
Down in the woods you’re sure of a big surprise! Go exploring and follow our Halloween trail through the branches of Temple Wood, and let off some steam on our much loved Woodland Adventure Playground. The Miniature Railway will be also be running, taking riders around the beautiful autumnal woodland.

Pumpkin Carving at Attingham Park
24 & 25 Oct, 11am – 3pm
Try your hand at making this traditional Hallowe'en decoration - what will you carve? A face, a shape, or something more spooky?
Carve your own pumpkin ready to take home in time for those Hallowe'en visitors! Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised during pumpkin carving activity.
These pumpkins come from a local farm and all money raised from your spooky carvings goes back to supporting Attingham

The Murderous Mansion: Spooky Encounters, Attingham Park

Meet the Master of the Mansion, hear his spooky tale and take on his tricky task this Hallowe'en half-term at Attingham Park.
Spooky Encounters will take place at timed intervals throughout the day. Children must be accompanied by an adult for this event and each child ticket costs £4 and admits two accompanying adults along with the child, additional adults are £1 each. Suitable for ages 4-11 years.

Ghostly Gaslight, Blist Hill Victorian Town

As dusk falls and the street lamps cast eerie shadows at every corner, weird apparitions will replace the friendly Victorians who are usually seen in the town’s shops, cottages and work places, and visitors are advised to listen out for things that go bump in the night!
Join us for our annual Halloween fright night on Saturday 28 October, 6pm-9pm, at Blists Hill Victorian Town. Wander the streets, shops and houses which will be transformed into eerie places filled with ghosts, ghouls and monsters. We love seeing you all dressed up in your spooky costumes so feel free to hit the fancy dress shop before you visit!

Dark Run 2017, Telford Town Park

It'll soon be time for Telford's fourth Dark Run 5k! This family Fun Run (with an option to finish after 2.5k), is open to all ages and abilities.
Dark Run will take place in Telford Town Park, starting and finishing near the Visitor Centre. The Visitor Centre toilets and café facility will be available for the duration of the event and water will be provided at the finish. Sunset is at 5:47pm that evening, so allowing enough time for darkness to fall the start time will be 6:30pm.
