Experience what life would have been like 100 years ago by visiting one of Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s most iconic and popular tourist attractions.
Blists Hill will give you an amazing insight into what life was like working and living in a Victorian town.
During your trip back in time you’ll be able to exchange your money at the bank into pounds, shillings and pence, take a look inside Victorian cottages to discover what life was really like and even try some traditionally cooked fish and chips.
Blists Hill is part of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust which is a heritage organisation running ten museums and managing 35 historic sites within the Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire and England.
The Ironbridge Gorge is a stunning and very picturesque venue which makes it the perfect place to visit for all the family, any day of the year.
As the festive season is in full swing Blists Hill is putting on a delightful Victorian Christmas over two weekends from the 3 - 4 and 10 - 11 of December.
There will be plenty for all the family to do both young and old with children able to write a letter to Father Christmas and leave a note on the wishing tree shed.
There will also be plenty of music with brass bands, carol singers and even Punch and Judy shows to get you in the mood.
You’ll also have the chance to do some Victorian Christmas shopping and purchase gifts such as perfumed soaps, traditional sweets and Victorian Christmas cards.
