Christmas is here, so it’s the perfect time to fill up your fridge and cupboards with the finest in seasonal, fresh and local produce.
Apley Farm shop has been a local favourite since 2011 when it was developed from old farm buildings at Stockton on the Apley Estate.
Owned and managed by the Hamilton family the farm shop aims to source some of the tastiest food and drinks from the estate, tenant farms, local suppliers and small food producers.
The delicatessen stocks a wide variety of cheeses, freshly prepared pies, pastries and sausage rolls as well as Apley scotch eggs. There are also handmade ready meals, tarts and pâtés all prepared on site.

As well as a great range of food and drink on offer, Apley Farm is the ideal setting for a day out with the family. The Pigg’s Playbarn will keep children entertained for hours while the Creamery Café serves up a host of delicious delights - including Christmas afternoon teas and sumptuous Sunday roasts.

December sees the arrival of Santa Claus to his grotto and children will be able to meet him in person. You can either book breakfast or afternoon tea with Santa Claus here - but be quick as time slots are filling up fast!
Santa’s grotto is open for business on 10, 11, 17, 19 – 23 December and there will even be some festive offers for those who hold an Apley loyalty card. If you don’t hold a loyalty card you can still access the offers by signing up in store.

On your way out why not take a stroll around the 18th century Apley Walled Garden which grows and produces a range of contemporary and heritage fruit and vegetables which all go into their veg boxes.
For more information on opening times as well as what else is on offer you can visit Apley Farm Shop.
